Later on why not move to the Leidseplein (square) where you can refuel at one of the many pubs or coffee shops. Move next door to bring your evening to a climax in pop temple – Paradiso or in the famous milk factory nightclub, Melkweg!
During the day you can stroll around the many markets, like the Albert Cuijp in the Pijp area. If you are looking for a little culture then the Van Gogh Museum, the Stedelijk Museum and the Rembrandt Museum are all just around the corner.
